ERC International and Vietnam Digital Academy (VDA) today announced their partnership to boost digital skills in Vietnam. The partnership aims to develop highly sought-after practical skills in digital marketing as a supplementary professional short course to complement ERC’s internationally recognised degree programs.
Dacey Nicoletti, Director at VDA, which was established in early 2014, says “the need for practical skill sets is growing rapidly, especially where digital is concerned”. She added that “agencies, advertisers, media and local brands are now shifting their focus from traditional media to digital channels and this in turn means that the skillsets of business owners, brand marketers, and entrepreneurs need to change”.
ERC International, a leading business school providing a UK education program, states that the partnership moves them closer to their vision towards building future business leaders and new media entrepreneurs. It gives the school a strong foothold into supporting practical, hands-on learning within a dynamic new industry that many students have expressed interest in.
The VDA programs will operate separately from the main university programs, but will be certified and recognised under ERC International. Programs include the popular Digital Guru course, which is a 30-hour introduction to digital marketing, plus more technical courses such as Performance Marketing, SEO, Content marketing and a leadership course for Personal Branding. Class information and schedules are available here
The partnership is expected to extend to other practical programs into the digital, media, advertising and marketing industry. VDA also offers a free job placement service in the digital industry for HCMC-based agencies, based on successful completion of the program.
The new term will start February 27, 2016 at ERC’s City Campus, 4 Le Quy Don, District 3, course registrations can be made by contacting email@example.com.
